Hokkaido to Kyushu by air and shinkansen, with eight rounds chosen so no two feel alike: Nicklaus parkland in the north, Alison's clifftop classic on the Izu coast, mountain golf above Kobe and Watson's links in Miyazaki. Fourteen days, one team looking after the logistics end to end.

Direct to Hokkaido; an easy first evening in the city.

The North Country Golf Club
Wide fairways to open the trip.
Day 3
Tomakomai
Hokkaido Classic Golf Club
Nicklaus through the birch.
Day 4
Fly to Tokyo
Afternoon flight south; evening free in Marunouchi.
Day 5
Gotenba
Taiheiyo Club — Gotemba Course
Tournament parkland beneath Mount Fuji.
Day 6
Izu
Kawana Hotel — Fuji Course
The cliffs at Kawana, and two nights at the hotel.
Day 7
Izu
Kawana Hotel — Oshima Course
The sister course, then an onsen afternoon.
Day 8
Shinkansen to Kyoto
A travel and culture day: Higashiyama in the late afternoon.
Day 9
Kobe
Rokko Kokusai Golf Club
Mountain golf above Osaka Bay.
Day 10
Kyoto
A guided day, or a rest day before the final leg.
Day 11
Fly to Miyazaki
Phoenix Country Club
South to Kyushu and straight onto the tournament course.
Day 12
Miyazaki
Tom Watson Golf Course
Links golf to change the rhythm.

Nichinan
Final round
A clifftop coastal finish and a farewell dinner.

Depart
Transfer to Miyazaki or Kagoshima for your flight home.
