If you have never played golf in Japan, start here. Four rounds spread across the Izu Peninsula and the Fuji foothills, bookended by Tokyo — enough golf to feel like a golf trip, enough city and onsen to bring a non-golfing partner along without apology.

Day by day

  1. Day 1

    Arrive Tokyo

Met at Haneda or Narita and driven to your hotel in Marunouchi. Evening at leisure; we book the first dinner if you would like us to.

  2. Day 2

    Tokyo

    Optional practice round

A slow morning, then a walking tour of the Imperial Palace grounds and Ginza — or nine holes and a range session to shake off the flight.

  3. Day 3

    Tokyo to Gotenba

    Taiheiyo Club — Gotemba Course

Early departure for tournament-standard parkland golf beneath Mount Fuji. Overnight at a Fuji-view hotel or hot-spring ryokan.

  4. Day 4

    Fuji Five Lakes

    Fuji-area championship course

A second Fuji round on a course chosen to suit your group, then an afternoon on Lake Kawaguchi.

  5. Day 5

    Izu Peninsula

    Kawana Hotel — Fuji Course

Down the coast to Kawana for the cliffside Alison classic. Two nights at the Kawana Hotel.

  6. Day 6

    Izu

    Kawana Hotel — Oshima Course

The sister course in the morning, an onsen and a seafood dinner in Ito in the afternoon.

  7. Day 7

    Return to Tokyo

Back to the city by mid-afternoon. Final night in Tokyo, with a farewell dinner booked at your preference.

  8. Day 8

    Depart

Private transfer to the airport, timed to your flight.
