What we collect, and where it goes
Two things on this site collect anything about you: the enquiry form, and taking a seat on a shared departure. This covers both.
What the form collects
Your name and email address, and — only if you fill them in — your phone number, country, group size, travel dates, nights and rounds, regions, budget, accommodation preference, handicaps, a course wishlist and your message. Only a name, an email address and a rough sense of when are required.
What taking a seat collects
Your name and email address, and — only if you fill them in — a phone number, the name you want shown on the group page, and a note. We also record how many seats you took and when.
What the group page shows other people
Only the name you chose to show, and how many seats you took. Leave that blank and the page shows a seat taken and nothing else. Your real name, email address, phone number and note are never on the page, and never in the data the page loads. That holds for an open departure and a private group alike.
The link to a group
A private group is listed nowhere and indexed by no search engine, but anyone holding its link can open it and take a seat. Send it only to the people you want on the trip.
What your browser stores
Taking a seat puts one random string in your browser, so that the same browser can withdraw the seat later. It is not a cookie, it is not sent to us with every request, and it identifies a seat rather than a person. Clear your browser data and the seat stays — you simply have to ask us to withdraw it.
What we do with it
We answer your enquiry, or arrange the departure you took a seat on. Nothing else. We do not sell it, and filling in a form here does not put you on a mailing list.
Who else sees it
Submitting the form sends what you wrote to the people who will answer it, through services that carry the message: Telegram, for the notification our team receives; Resend, which delivers the same enquiry by email; and Cloudflare, which hosts the site and therefore handles the request itself. Each is a processor carrying your enquiry to us, not an audience for it. Taking a seat on a departure reaches us the same way, through the same services. We use no advertising or analytics services at all.
How long we keep it
For as long as we are planning your trip, and afterwards as part of our record of the work. A seat you have taken stays on file for the departure it belongs to; withdraw and the seat is released at once. Ask us to delete any of it and we will.
Cookies
We set none. Your language choice is part of the address you are on. The only thing this site puts on your device is the seat token described above, and only once you have taken a seat. Cloudflare may set cookies needed to serve and protect the site.
Your rights
Ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will do it. If you are in a place whose law gives you more than that, those rights apply too.
